Greyton / Genadendal is best known for the delightful Saturday Morning Market where visitors are hard-pressed to resist the famous lemon-curd pancakes or eccentric mixes like duck and cherry pies. However, the foodies' delight is certainly not the only thing that attracts visitors from across the Western Cape. Then there are Norma Muscroft's dollhouses that seem to come to life as you peep into the miniature world. Every detail has been thought out and they even have working light fixtures and inhabitants in varying poses. Most certainly a unique attraction to see.

For those in search of inner peace, there are several wellness treatments or retreats that can accomplish just that. For some added fun, there is yoga, bridge and line dancing to keep you busy. Then there are some events such as the soirée weekends that celebrate classical music, which should certainly be diarised. 

For educational fun, the interesting historical village walk is a gentle stroll that will transport you back in time. It is an informative activity that will illuminate Greyton and Genadendal from past to present.
